Easter Baskets!

Updated: Oct 1, 2020

Even though we are all staying safe and staying inside, doesn't mean Easter is cancelled!

For me I think I have been looking for outlets to celebrate even the smallest things that I can do with my daughter Olivia. Whether it be getting a new set of chalk or a splash pad for the backyard. Easter is no different. I think we all want to make any holiday special for our little ones. Taking the current situation into consideration, it's more important than ever to find those moments to escape and find happiness. Babies smiling is there anything better?

When making this easter basket I tried to find a balance between something she needs and wants. By needs I mean things that will entertain her and keep my sanity :). Besides the PJs and Books you could argue that these are mostly wants but its all relative at this point! The basket and plastic eggs I plan on reusing for future Easters. Do you see how I justify? Am I alone here? haha.

Here is a list of items I complied:

PJ set for girl or boy (Amazon), Tale of Peter Rabbit Book (Target), Bunny Stuffed Animal (Target)

Bunny Basket (Target), Bubbles (Target), Plastic Easter Eggs (Target), Cactus Stickers (Target) to go in the eggs

Bubble Bath (Target) Bath Crayons (Target)

Bunny fruit Snacks (Target) to also go in the easter eggs

Head Band (Target)

Bunny Finger Puppet Book (Target)

Toddler Egg Set (Amazon)

Pink Purse (Amazon)

Playfoam (Amazon)

Splash Pad (Amazon)

Pineapple Montessori Lacing Toy - Helps fine motor skills (Amazon)

The Original Toy Company Pop Up Fire Truck - helps with hand eye coordination (Amazon)

Best Washable Crayons - Olivia tested (Amazon)

$5 Coloring Book! Lots of pages (Amazon)

Hands down my favorite bows! Linen material great muted colors - (Amazon)

In case you want to change out of PJs for a photo op - here is a beautiful little girls lace dress option tons of sizes and colors, great reviews! (Amazon)

Can't forget about our boys! This chambray button down is $5 doll hairs! Also comes in white. mind blown. (Amazon)

Hopefully this provides a little inspiration despite our "quarantine situation" to celebrate the little things and make this Easter memorable.

Thanks for reading!
